So yesterday we buried my absentee dad who died a pretty horrible death all alone and apparently homeless. He lived a destructive life and left emotional scars on anyone who got close to him. I pulled some cards (no spread structure) to ask what he wanted me to know about his life.  It’s pretty clear that he wanted all the things that the K of Swords represents: achievement, intellect, respect, financial security, etc. But the 2 of Cups Rx shows that he thought only of himself, didn’t value his relationships, and didn’t do the emotional work necessary to maintain them. Ultimately, The Tower shows that everything crashed down around him, everything went bad, and he died a terrible death.  What else can you see here? TIA for your insights, tarot fam!!   So I’ve got some neighbor conflict: hubby was playing with dog in the yard. The neighbor guy stuck his head over his privacy fence and stared my hubby directly in the eye while pointing at the dog and made a gun-shooting sound effect. What the actual fuck??? I asked what I need to know about this guy - like is he a real threat to us. What I get from this spread is that: -He’s self-centered and up his own ass -Bored and unhappy with life -Gets off on conflict and doesn’t give a shit about anyone else’s perspective  So, probably not an immediate threat but frustrated. I’m definitely not going to try him tho! Does anyone else have a different take?  (Deviant Moon Tarot)
